Reset
Before you start
  • Your full email address (including @domain).
  • Your password (same as Webmail).
Do not share your password over chat. If you forgot it, ask for a reset.
Webmail
Open your mailbox in a browser. It is the best way to verify that your password is correct.

Automatic setup

Pick your app and follow the steps. If it asks for server/port, use the settings on the right.

Android (Gmail)

  1. Open Gmail → Menu ☰ → SettingsAdd account.
  2. Choose Other (not Exchange/Microsoft 365).
  3. Enter your email and pick Personal (IMAP).
  4. Incoming (IMAP): Server correo.6am.es, Port 993, Security SSL.
  5. Outgoing (SMTP): Server correo.6am.es, Port 587, Security STARTTLS.
  6. When asked about SMTP auth: Yes (same username & password).
If Gmail insists on “Exchange”, go back and select “Other” → “Personal (IMAP)”.

iPhone / iPad (Mail)

  1. First enter your email above and press Continue.
  2. Then you can download the iOS profile (recommended) or set up manually.
  3. Manual path: SettingsMailAccountsAdd AccountOther.
  4. Choose IMAP (not POP). Incoming: correo.6am.es · Port 993 · SSL.
  5. Outgoing SMTP: correo.6am.es · Port 587 · STARTTLS · Auth Yes.

Outlook

Outlook on mobile (iOS/Android)
  1. Outlook → Add account → enter your email.
  2. If it suggests Exchange/Microsoft 365, choose Manual setupIMAP.
  3. IMAP: correo.6am.es · Port 993 · SSL.
  4. SMTP: correo.6am.es · Port 587 · STARTTLS.
  5. SMTP authentication: Yes (same username & password).
Outlook on Windows (classic)
  1. Outlook → FileAdd account.
  2. Enable Advanced optionsLet me set up my account manually.
  3. Select IMAP and enter the same IMAP/SMTP settings shown on the right.
  4. Outgoing server requires authentication: enabled (same username/password).
If Outlook keeps trying “Exchange”, cancel and choose IMAP/manual setup.

Other app

Look for: Add account → Other → IMAP. Then enter the server settings shown on the right.

If something fails

Quick fixes for the most common issues:

It offers Exchange / Microsoft 365
Go back and choose Other / IMAP / Manual setup. Do not use Exchange.
I can receive but not send
In SMTP settings enable authentication and use the same username & password. Prefer port 587 with STARTTLS.
It says wrong username/password
Username must be your full email address. Password is the same as Webmail.
Certificate warning / server mismatch
Make sure you typed the server exactly as shown: IMAP correo.6am.es and SMTP correo.6am.es.
It does not connect (Wi‑Fi / VPN)
Try another network (mobile data). Corporate Wi‑Fi/VPN sometimes blocks mail ports.
